The Future of Technology in Secondary Education in 2020
INTRODUCTION
Secondary education is the form of education after elementary school (or primary education). The age at which children start going to secondary education differs per country, from 9-12 years old. Secondary education takes the students through most of their teenage years.
The goal of secondary education is to give a lot of common knowledge and to prepare them for a next study. This can be either a higher form of secondary education or a study to learn a profession.
Our goal is to study and analyze secondary education, examine the present and the future utilization of technology in secondary education and eventually come up with several scenarios for the future of technology in secondary education in 2020

nice clear scenarios, you need to address how the classroom changes, what are the financial implications, which model would be cheaper, more expensive? need a better sense of how the scenarios develop (the issues of timeing) in scenario 1 was there attempts to change the industrial model intersesting that in the second life video, the classroom door looks like a prison door. like the peer to peer teaching model! why would governments increase spending on education dont make 3d holograms such a big issue, or say whay it would be so important what about the political dimension and social dimension in schools will there still be rich and poor kids in the same class. define what will be the curriculum? perhaps a 4th scenario that incorporates use of technology in alternative education models, (Steiner) what about kinestetic learning, or symbolic learning? the content of the scenarios not to much gadet driven what about google book scans, open content allience, advertising? commercial driven what about the open courseware intitiative, what is the content that people learn
