Wars have always been largely dependent on resources and know-how. Industry, agriculture, access to sea, geographical position and etc. have played important parts in waging wars as pillars for successful armies. Also, the information accessibility has always been a prerequisite. Even in early times, runners, big signal fires and what not else were used as tools to provide messages and so appropriate military strategy are devised. With the coming of computer networks and global communication, almost all of these methods were eradicated. However, the environment created in order for this information to be channeled evolved and became sustainable for much more than just information passing. Since many systems became directly dependent, and therefore, became open to direct attack, the cyberspace, artificially created by the information revolution became the new battleground.
