Increase in Green Space within Cities
As the density of the cities increases, park/green space becomes more precious. Most urban cities in the word have neglected their green spaces, however, trends indicate that major urban cities are funding projects to revitalize green spaces. For the first time in history, more than half of the planets population lives in cities. This has given rise to high-rise apartment buildings with no access to a communal space, or room to breathe.

Abandoned industrial sites could be used to create green spaces.
Neighborhood identity could be created through specific parks that engage the surrounding streets, neighborhoods and buildings.
A place to meet
