How big is work space for individual in an Office? What kind of partition method?

In the major city of US, the average office worker is going to take up about 70 sq. ft. (equal to 6.50321 square meters) of office space. Usually that's a cubicle.
In China, the Office building standard for Office-bearer was established at 1999 by national consult committee. 2000 came into force; this standard regulates the average individual workspace. For instance, 54 square meters for province level, 24 for bureau level, local section level 12 square meters and so on. Here list merely those workspace examples for chief from various classes. For the subordination Office worker, mainly divide into three classes:

  • First class of Offices is for central department, province department, the average individual workspace is 16-19 square meters.
  • Second class of Offices is for city (state) level department, the average individual workspace is 12-15 square meters.
  • Third class of Office is for town level department, the average individual workspace is 10-12 square meters.

Normally, Office worker with the same level of job position work in one open Office, and high-ranking worker has own Office.
