Article on Intellectual Property problems caused by Web 2.0[[1]]
Aarti
Mail to lecturer: Hey Guys, when I started searching for information and looking at other scenarios, I realised that it would be better if we concentrate only on intellectual property, because we have to know our topic intensively and I think if we take open source and open content into consideration, that would be impossible. That's why I think it will be better for us to concentrate on intellecutal property only, but ofcourse we will ran into open source and open content, than we can use those two in our scenario, but concentrate more extensively on the future of intellectual property.
I think that this is also the meaning of the professor, think he wants us to concentrate more on intellectual property. But I just mailed him about this issue, but he has not answer yet.
What do you guys think about this?

My opinion about Intellectual Property
I think it is hard to separate these three. As they are really related with each other very closely. There is an video about Creative Commons(CC) on our wiki. Very vivid, in my opinion, to describe the CC. The CC is about the intellectual property of open sources and open content. What the other 3 sweeties think about this? :-)

Aarti
That is exactly what I mean!! We should concentrate on the intellectual property, but not the intellectual property of the whole internet, but only on the intellectual property of open source and open content - because this is a big issue for the use of WEB 2.0

Sandhya Hey girls, I also think we have to restrict ourselves to the intellectual property of open source and open content only when we discuss Web 2.0. Indeep open source+content are just a part of intellectual property:Open Source and Open Content represent the next era of intellectual property

Hi ladies,

I also think that we have to focus on intellectual property concerning open source and open content. Actually, I think that the term "intellectual property" has everything to do with open source and open content, that it has come into existence only after the arrival of open source and open content...? As the idea of open source and open content is all about sharing and interactively using knowledge and sources, the concern arises about whose property a particular source, document is (is it the publisher's, the last editor's or is it everyone's property?). What I'm trying to say here is more or less the same as the others, that in a way intellectual property is derived from open source and open content. They are too closely related to be considered seperatly. I'm not so sure if there are other topics in web 2.0 where intellectual property have to be considered as well. But even if there is, I think we should only stick to the intellectual property of the topics agreed on so far.

If anybody disagrees or thinks otherwise, please feel free to make it known :)

Hey Girlz, I added some questions and answers to the "Intellectual property" part. But I'm not sure if this is the way to do it...? I have just copied the answers I found from the internet. I also don't know how to upload an picture... Anyone knows?

Open Source and Open Content represent the next era of intellectual property. I read this on a website.
