Through the vast amounts of books, it will become immensely complex to track all copyrights and sources. Therefore, many authors may lose their credit through the haze and maze of circular or endless referencing.

Paradigms

When building on the shoulders of giants, people refer to their giants. This is a recursive pattern, in which every author refers to its own teachers. This creates a maze of links through Internet, which may create trouble when links die (i.e. dead links). In this way, links are not self descriptive anymore and the real sources cannot be referenced or checked anymore.
