Korean government granted three licenses to the incumbent terrestrial broadcasters (KBS, MBC, SBS) and three licenses to new comers (YTN DMB, KMMB and U1media (ex Korea DMB)). T-DMB can interface with wireless Internet service through MPEG-4 BIFS technology. Therefore, T-DMB service penetration rate may affect on wireless Internet business.
