The Revival of Nationalism

In 2020, all countries tend to be more independent. They prefer to protect their own economics and unique culture. The reasons resulting in such situation involve economics recession, political conflict and culture diversity.

Each country will set higher tariff and encourage more internal trade.

The technology will develop so fast that each country can produce almost everything it needs. There is no need to do business with other countries.

People can know whatever is happening out of their country through media. Those information will be provided by all kinds of medias in time that people hear it, see it and even feel it (through virtual technology). For example, Disney will be no longer attractive because people can enjoy it in virtual world just the same way in real world while they don’t need to take several hours’ airplane and then find suitable hotel and deal with a lot of other boring affairs.

All the people will be wealthy and live a peaceful and wonderful life. They will not need to worry about the future such as out of work, medical insurance, pension, the education of their children and other issues that bother most people nowadays. Living in their own country is the best choice for them. They can get anything they require in local place.
