As new technology evolves there are also factors that keep people from using these technologies. Although no real research could be found on this driving force you often hear people about prefering a book over an E-Book. The reading from the screen, the fact that you must always have your computing device on can be a problem.

• Reading from a book still is more comfortable then from a screen at a desk, or a mobile device with a small screen.
• Due the rising environmental concerns people tend to go back to old 'technologies' as paper books, which don't consume any energy when used.
• Publishers are not willing to make books available as E-Books because of copyright concerns.

Inhibitors

• Based on the other driving forces like, New_development_in_(free)energy, you could say that E-Books will used more and more.
