Climate change is also a security issue for the country, since a big part of the countrymass is lower than the sea-level.
The position that the Netherlands takes in international cliamte conferences is therefore strongly for a reduction of GHG, like that of the whole EU. They say a reduction of GHG would cost only 0,6% of global GDP. This is much less than the public believe is.
