A newspaper is a collection of articles about current events and is particularly a great source for local information. Most newspapers are published daily though they may contain a weekly section, such as a literary supplement.

Newspapers come in print or microfilm format, or on the Web as electronic newspapers. However, the online newspaper may have fewer articles than the print copy. Online newspapers usually charge for access to their archives, but you can often find those issues at the library for free.

Use a Newspaper:
to find current information about international, national and local events
to find expert or popular opinions

Examples :
The Wall Street Journal
The New York Times
Le Monde
