Cyberspace was a term originally coined by a science fiction novelist William Gibson and is accepted today as an electronics domain where data exchange is made on networked systems. And as these systems are connecting the whole world, there are literally people who live inside, having businesses, friends and even capital.
This means that it is becoming a world within a world, and worlds have wars. As mentioned in the previous questions and answers, governments also exist in cyberspace and are taking it very seriously. As the world becomes more and more dependent on computers and networks there are military organizations that specialize to fight in this domain, predicting that it will become more and more important moving the battlefield from the real world to the virtual world.
