Description

Although what the OLPC project focus on is how to manufacture an extra cheap laptop with free software to improve the poor areas’ educational status of developing countries, remote education is still a very important factor which would influence the achievement of the whole OLPC project. No matter in what way OLPC manufacture cheaper laptop or how they deliver these devices to children in poor area, to teach the children how to use this machine shall be as equally important as manufacturing or delivering. In this way, training local teachers and volunteers who will teach children how to use their magic box later on could be very important. And there could be tens of thousands of trainees who come from all over the world. Further more, these training sessions should be systematically. In this way, remote educations could be used to help OLPC project to train their volunteers and even the local teachers.
