Enablers: It give the oppertunity to look at the programs on demand. It's mor flexible than the traditional distrubutor. More background information available. And it's also portable and simple to burn on DVD.

Inhibitors: It still depend on the distrubution of the traditional channels. If your cable don't have this channel you can not save it on your TIVO.
