The Climate Group is a non-profit organization working internationally with business and political leaders to advance clean technologies and policies to cut global greenhouse gas emissions and accelerate a prosperous low carbon economy. It operated in all the continents with offices in UK (headquarters), US, Europe, Australia, China, India and Hong Kong. Its growing coalition of some of the world's leading corporations, cities, states and regions understand the twin environmental and economic imperatives of taking action to tackle climate change now.<br><br>
To help advance its mission, it has collaborated with former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair on Breaking the Climate Deadlock- an initiative focused on brokering a successful global deal on climate change. During 2008-2009, the initiative published a series of high-level reports and briefing papers outlining the key building blocks necessary to achieve a fair and effective global deal and break the political deadlock around climate action. The Climate Group has also partnered in other initiatives with organisations, including the Global e-Sustainability Initiative (GeSi), International Emissions Trading Association (IETA), and World Business Council on Sustainable Development (WBSCD)<br><br>
