==Timing==
Today public transport incorporates various modes of travel such as buses, trams and trains.From the first train built in 1825 to the Maglev trains introduced in 2004, trains have come a long way.With advancement in ICT, public transport has become very convenient.In 2005 the smart card concept was introduced in Rotterdam metro and then was extended to Amsterdam. By 2010 the smart card could be used in buses and trams and extended to almost all regions of Netherlands. As the congestion in Netherlands increases, government is considering to levy pay as you drive tax, which in turn may increase the attractiveness of public transport and we may see some new concepts such as 'Superbus'.
