What is it?

The VeriChip™ is the first and only human-implantable RFID microchip used for the purposes of automatic identification.
This chip is about the size of a grain and can be inserted just under the skin. Each microchip contains a unique 16-digit ID. The chip itself does not contain any other data than this ID nor does it make use of GPS tracking capabilities.

VeriChip Corporation is the only company in the world today to apply this technology in its VeriMed systems. The VeriMed System offers patients accurate and positive identification and immediate access to medical and other critical databases. VeriMed is tamper-proof and completely under the patient’s control.
