Upcoming Technological Changes

The way people transport themselves changes in radical way, people want to reach their destination faster, and more comfortable. I think technology will cause a change in the transportation the next 10 - 15 years. At the moment of writing the dutch railway is busy implementing internet on their trains, KLM is busy implementing mobile technology to their planes. Because of this technologies people are not bounded to place and time anymore, they could work wherever and whenever they want. People are more and more getting used to technology and in the next years I will become an commodity, in the following years people search for other changes in their lives and how to reach their goal sooner and faster. These technologies lead to a change in the mobility branch, because people are not bounded to a place or office anymore. When people are not bounded to their office or workspace, people going to travel in other ways or maybe time. This technological changes do not only affect the reason why people travel but also how they do it, nowadays cars are getting more and more advanced to make traveling as comfortable as possible, I think this will also affect the way people move. Because of the overcrowded highways, solutions have to be found to regulate this traffic to create an optimal flow. Cars could be equipped with for example regulators, so that everybody drives in the same speed, to create an optimal flow.
