Generally, the security systems of current office mainly consist of two parts, security system for defending virtual unauthorized access and real unauthorized access. And to the former part, internet security policies play a very important role in this picture. And proper configuration of firewalls and routers, encryption mechanism on the base of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), digital signatures, etc are involved in this case. And to the latter part, security system such as smart cards, biometrics, video monitoring, ultrared or ultrasonic protection and the like are used to guarantee the office security. Futhermore, fire alarm systems would also be considered as another security system for modern office.
