4. Will T-DMB become a major service?

S-DMB(Satellite DMB) has 540,000 subscribers in May this year and not a scale of economics. T-DMB(Terrestrial DMB) service is started 6 months later and its number of devices is increasing fast. It is expected that T-DMB service will retard the growth of S-DMB service by the following reasons appealing customer.
1) T-DMB is free.
2) T-DMB is supported by main public broadcaster-KBS,MBC and SBS.
3) T-DMB device is increasing faster-Industry expects 2 millions for T-DMB and 1 million for S-DMB in accumulating count at the end of this year.
T-DMB can interface with wireless Internet service through MPEG-4 BIFS technology. KTF are constructing the wireless DMB portal to benefit from this feature. However, T-DMB has a big weak point, which is that there is no business model for profits. At now, it is not sure that TDMB service will succeed.
