How to use a Creative Common license?

The moment a singer,author, scientist, moviemaker, anyone, publish his/her work, it automatically is published under all rights reserved. But if someone wants to grant certain usage of their work, they can use the creative commons by just selecting the licensing they want from the website of creativecommons[1]. Some code will be provided to them, which they can copy to their website and they have to display the CC-logo on their website. If someone than wants to use their work, they just click on the CC-logo and all the rights will be displayed. In this way the owners work is legally protected in the way he/she wants
