Every politician in every country tries to influence everything possible. They have some good ideas and they want to be remembered as good politicians. Therefore they try to make these influences. Political driving force of The Future of Secondary Education in 2020
Description
Every politician in every country tries to influence everything possible. They have some good ideas and they want to be remembered as good politicians. Therefore they try to make these influences. One of these points is education. Every politician knows (or at least he says it) that education is one of the most important things. In most of the cases it is quite harmless, like trying to align businesses with education or improve studies that have proven to be not that good. But also in extreme versions this happens. Think of dictators rewrite the history books to make themselves look good or groups of people who forbid others to go to school (like the Taliban did with girls)
Enablers
- Good politicians: Politicians who say and ‘really’ do something to improve the education in their country
- Studies: Can use politics to get people to know their study
- Businesses: They can give their ideas on how to improve studies to align them more to the business world
Inhibitors
- Bad politicians: Politicians who make big changes because of the ‘big’ changes. This way they get into the news, but the changes they made only cause more work
Paradigms
Politics can influence education in lots of ways. This can be good or bad, but every change is an opportunity to improve a study. This will always cause for studies that aren’t perfect, but over time they can be fixed as well.
Experts
Every rector or politician will have information on this subject. In every case the information will be colored by the opinion of the person who is asked.
