Motives / De-motives for implementing GRID? Industrial/ Commercial implication / usage? What are the limitations of GRID? Difference between Clusters & GRID What other technologies are needed to help its development?
Are their any substitutable technologies?
What are the Uncertainties? Political Issues that might rise? Resistant to new IT? Problem with legacy system? Too complicated for implementation? What technologies are needed for successful implementation? Parallel programming? Who will be possible winners/ losers? (Benefit / loss from it) Will consumer use it? Will they be willing to share their computing capacity? How much will they be willing to share? "Psychological issue": opportunity ride Security Problem? Music/ Movie/ Digital game industry trend? (going online etc ) Government Support? Economical Influence?
Key points to bear in mind during interview: Ask them what they don’t know instead of what they know Ask them the uncertainties For each uncertainty, ask them what the situation will be like, what are the extremes?
