Description:
Letting each other know how good you are, what you do and what you know, is something that is in humans nature. Therefore it was not a big surprise that hand in hand with the big internet boom, the sharing of these information rized extremely. The information found by individuals became the information of the world.
Enablers:
Lots of people created their own website, founded communities, became members of forums etc. All of this made it possible that almost anything can be found on the internet. Where information used to be valuable knowledge, it is nowadays no longer recognized as knowledge at all. Anyone has acces to information about everything, spending a relatively and extreme short time browsing the internet. This has changed the way people value information and knowledge.
