Description:
Increased connectivity between human and media
At the moment the internet can be seen as a cold media, in that the interaction with it is limited by the interfaces we use to access it: the monitor and the keyboard, which slow down the flow of information between the net and our brain. Tact, taste and smell are not involved in the experience, and sight and hearing are used marginally. This limits our possibilities: given the fact that we see the network as an extension of our neural and nervous system, we would like to maintain a constant flow of information between the two. A number of technologies are surfacing which will help us interact more easily with the grid, and eventually become part of it
Enablers:
Several Technologies: - Three dimensional Oleograms - LCD Glasses - Progress in the application of nanotechnology
Increase in wireless connectivity of computers to audio systems
Inhibitors:
- privacy protection -
Paradigms:
The network will create multiple reality equally important and parallel to the life outside network. all realities will have the same importance and people will have different identities for each different realities. from Individual to Multividual
