Mosly, the old people are the main group who prefer to read the newspaper rather than browsing the internet. The main reasons for explaining the phenomena are:

#They are not used to these modern things. The traditional mind and culture makes them prefer the newspaper. 
#Usually, the old are not good at using the computer which prevent them from the internet.
