Increasing involvement of developing nations

Developing nations take sometimes opposite positions in the climate change negotiations. On a one side there are countries like India, Russia, China which are state that they have to increase gas emissions due to the fact of their economical growth, otherwise it will stop. On other side there are countries like Ecuador or some island countries which are suffer from climate change the most, so they ask for the strong measures. There are also countries that would prefer to be in the process because of subsidies, however it is very likely that they will not take any real measures.

Enablers:

1. Technological growth 2. Subsidies 3. Ecological disasters because of climate changes
