How will piracy affect those modules?

In general the threats to the application module approach are:

• privacy. How can it be assured that information about the user of the mobile device is not unauthorized made available to others.
• integrity. The viruses and worms, now commonly find on PCs are in this category.

Note that the value of the application modules will be in the data they access. The value is not in the module itself. Therefor 'illegally copying' of application modules should be less of a problem.
