In the future the environment will become more important in the daily life, the fossil fuels only last for about another 50 years. So alternatives have to be found. Nowadays people become more and more aware of the fact that alternative energy sources have to be found in order to reduce CO2. This will also affect the mobility in the Netherlands, Cars and busses have to be adapted to other sources of fuel. With the environment in mind the transportation of people will also change, discouraging the use of cars, and the public transportation will take a bigger role in the daily life. Also companies have to deal with these changes, the european union tightens the emission rates in order to reduce the CO2 reduction, transport is for a lot of companies a crucial part of their business. So these businesses will be triggered to find alternative sources.
