At 2020, the office will be treated by the companies in similar style as in the current situation. Companies and organizations will either buy or lease the office space. Legally, the purchase/lease agreements are highly efficient for the both sides(buyer/suplier or lessor/lessee).

Core factor
The Human factor will be at the of the future office designing. Since employees spend almost 1/3 life time at work, the humanistic orientation in office design office can raise the level of satisfaction and confidence of the people that work inside, as well as improve the work efficiency.

Based on the current situation, an evolutionary change and development will happen.

Office building holistic Architecture
Some office buildings will keep the usual sky-scraper tower-like style. But there are other possibilities.

In order to solve the problem of extensive population growth, saving space in residence and office building areas becomes an issue of concern. One alternative is that to raise the office buildings above other constructions. A similar solution was pioneered by Unilever's de Brug hanging office building. As a contrast, there will be offices built under the ground. The city council of Amsterdam has already approved the Underground City project worth over 7 bilion Eur.

Office building internal allocation
The parking and the warehousing space will be located underground in order to save on space. There will be a swimming pool on the garret with garden surround. Employees may enjoy the sports during the break or after hours. In order to provide full service and reduce the need for traveling during lunch hour, restaurants will also be placed within the building

The recreation areas and the public lounges will be located outside the office but at close distance. The benefit of this is avoiding disturbance from outside visitors. Customers or visitors who come to the company will first go into the public lounges room with nice music and drink bar. The relaxing environment is beneficial for doing good business.

The offices are separated by shifting doors made of soundproof glass. The employers can move the door open during the break. As mentioned before, the office is located at the backside of the recreation area. By connecting the workplace with the recreation area provides a homelike break for employees, where they can communicate with each other and have a good rest.

Alternatively, “open office” is a kind of style that everybody in the company include CEO is working together in one workplace with simple partition. This kind of office allocation can enhance the feeling of trust and equality between employers and employees. Interaction and communication happens easily anytime during the working time and rest time.

Office Interior and technology
Office illumination and the color design have the enormous function regarding person's psychological mood. The office illumination should combine natural light and artificial light sources. Simultaneously, the color design should provide a positive atmosphere in the room.

Moreover, the office building interior will be oriented towards energy savings, so the air-conditioning expenses are minimized. Furthermore, the roofs of the buildings will be used for placing solar panels for production of electric energy. Some companies will create even self sustainable offices, using all available outside space(such as windows) as solar panels

The integration of office machine will continue in a similar manor as today 4-in-1 machines.(printer, scanner, copier, fax). The office chair and table will be easy carried and freely dissemble and assemble. Specially, the office chair will be ergonomically designed which automatically adjust the height of the seat and the angle of the backrest and armrest etc.

Digital displays will be placed on near the office door to show the schedule of the employees in the office For instance, “12.00-14.00 the meeting of topic …. Do not disturb” Etc.
